" YMCA MISSION FOCUS is about lifting up the "C" in the YMCA through Biblical Principles creating a renewed focus on the YMCA’s Mission in order to effectively "put Christian Principles into practice" for all.

YMCA MISSION FOCUS provides leadership to develop and encourage supportive activities, programs and services aimed at lifting up the “C”. These programs will help staff, volunteers and constituents Know Christian principles, Grow in Christian principles and Show Christian principles through their lives and YMCA association.

YMCA MISSION FOCUS seeks to help others lift up the “C” by creating, collecting and sharing effective tools, ideas, programs and strategies to help implement the Mission more effectively.

YMCA MISSION FOCUS is about seeing the love and character of Jesus Christ more fully formed in the YMCAs of the USA and around the world, which is our heritage.

YMCA MISSION FOCUS provides encouragement to model Jesus Christ’s example of loving all people equally and living a life dedicated to grace, mercy, truth and honesty, while doing the will of our heavenly Father.

YMCA MISSION FOCUS is about having a common yet flexible approach to implementing the Mission based on where the branch or association is in its development.

YMCA MISSION FOCUS desires to see the fulfillment of Christ’s prayer – that Christ’s love and new life would extend to all people – through the Christian love and care that God’s people show to one another and to everyone in the world around them.
